UP 9910, UP Designation SD59MX

UP 9910 is an SD59MX. Reportedly UP 9910 was first built in Nov 1991 by EMD as a model SD60M, builders number 906100-1, UP SD60M 6269 becoming 2424, from UP series 2240-2520.
This locomotive was rebuilt in 2012 by EMD in 2012 as an SD59MX-2, UP 9910, new serial number 906100-1. The SD59MX is also known as an SD32ECO.

According to good sources UP SD59MX 9913 was built in 1991 by EMD as 6285, a model SD60M, builders number 906100-17. It was renumbered 2440, retired as such in 2012, rebuilt as UP SD59MX 9913.

According to good sources UP SD59MX 9914 was built in 1992 by EMD as a model SD60M, UP 6295, UP Serial Number 906100-27, Order No 906100, Frame Number 906100-27. It was subsequently renumbered UP 2450 and retired as such in 2012, rebuilt as UP SD59MX 9914.

Union Pacific SD59MX 9914 spent Aug. 8, 2013 at Watsonville, CA. According to Matt Vurek, "FYI, the SD59MXs are used on the nocturnal LRQ-53 Aromas - San Jose "Rock Job" (on duty 7pm weeknights). Unlike the 4 axle power around WJct, they are not used on any daytime locals."

UP 9927 is an EMD SD59MX. Reportedly: UP SD59MX 9927 was built in 1992 by EMD as 6312, a model SD60M, builders number 906100-44. It was renumbered 2467, retired as such in 2012, in 2014 it was rebuilt as UP SD59MX 9927. (These locomotives are also referenced by some as EMD SD59-2s and/or EMD SD32ECOs.)
Daylight Rock Job in San Jose
UP 9927 and 9914 lead a daylight edition of the Rock Job, LRQ53, headed north at 4:13 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at College Park station in San Jose, CA.

UP 9950 EMD SD40-2

Reportedly: UP 9950 was built in 1980 by EMD as SD40-2 MP 3320 serial number 786269-9. It became UP 4320, then UP 9950 after the merger.
