JPBX 900 is an EMD F40PH-2. Reportedly: Joint Powers Board (CalTrain) JPBX 900 "San Francisco" was built in 1985 as CDTX 900, serial number 836077-1.

At 3:16 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, JPBX 900 is leading train 120 onto track 5 at San Jose's Diridon station.

Joint Powers Board (CalTrain) JPBX 901 EMD F40, "San Jose" built as CDTX 901. Caltrain Designation F40PH-2-CAT was built by EMD in 1985 serial number 836077-2 as an F40PH. It was overhauled by Alstom in 1999. It is rated at 3200 hp and features a Caterpillar 6-cylinder HEP generator.

At 1:50 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021, the day after Thanksgiving, Joint Powers Board (JPBX, CalTrain) 903 "Santa Clara" is in San José, CA under the new catenary at San Jose Diridon Station. It's part of a train being towed dead from Tamien through Diridon by JPBX 504.

JPBX 920, EMD/MPI MPI F40PH-2C

JPBX 920 is an EMD/MPI MPI F40PH-2C. Reportedly: Information on this is sketchy. JPBX is the 'Morgan Hill' an Operation Lifesaver Unit. It has serial number 0498-1. When it was built and rebuilt is a bit of a mystery at the time of this writing.
